はじめに
The moments we spend with our children are so precious. During this time, they will be learning to interact and communicate. At the same time will also be developing even closer bonds with you as parents. A perfect space where you can grow together as a family.
親子で一緒に過ごす時間は、とても貴重なものです。子供達はコミュニケーションのとり方を学び、親子の絆をより親密なものへと深めていくことができる。家族として共に成長するのに欠かせない、親にとっても最高な時間でもあるのです。
This all means, that it is essential that you use this time wisely and continually discover new interesting ways to engage and challenge them.
A great way is through a fun, hands on, Arts and craft time. Here you can work as a team to create something unique together.
そう考えると、この時間を有効に使うために、子供が興味を持ち、チャレンジできる「新しくて面白い方法」を絶えず見つけることが重要になってきます。
お勧めなのは、親子で楽しめる「工作タイム」です。親子がワンチームとなって、ユニークなものが創れますからね。
The difficulty comes in thinking of new and interesting ideas.
So, let’s take a look at a few fun projects you can try at home.
でも常に「何か目新しく面白いアイデアを…」と考えるているのも大変なこと。
そこで、ご家庭で楽しめる工作をご紹介してまいります。
Things you will need:
用意するもの：
Things you will need:
-2 x Plate.
-1 x Pencil.
-1 x round object about half the size of the plates (e.g. Roll of tape).
-1 x Marker.
-1 x Ruler.
-1 x Scissors/craft knife(please take special care when using sharp objects with children).
-1 x Butterfly pin.
-3 x Paints (Red, Yellow and Blue).
-3 x Paint Brushes.
-1 x Container of water(to clean your brushes).
-2 x Palette to mix the paint.
用意するもの：
紙皿 2枚
鉛筆 １本
紙皿の半分くらいの大きさの丸いもの（例えばテープ類の芯）1個
マジック 1本
定規 １個
ハサミか工作用ナイフ １挺
（お子様が刃物を扱う場合は、細心の注意を払ってください）
割りピン 1個
絵の具 3色（赤、黄色、青）
絵筆 3本
水入れ 1個（筆洗用）
パレット 2個
Directions:
作り方：
1) Take both paper plates and using the pencil and ruler, draw 3 lines to divide them into equal sections (see image <1>)
紙皿2枚を用意し、鉛筆と定規で線を3本ひき、3等分する。
2) Using a pencil and the smaller round object as a template draw circle in the center of each plate. You will now have 3 outer sections and 3 inner sections.
鉛筆と小さい方の丸いものを使って両方の紙皿の中心に円を描く。
これで外側と内側がそれぞれ３つに分けられたことになる。
3) Take one plate and using your paint supplies, paint each of the outer sections a different color. 1 x Red, 1 x Yellow and 1 x Blue.
片方の紙皿の、外側の分けられた箇所にそれぞれ赤・黄色・青の絵の具で色を塗る。
4) Next, with clean paintbrushes mix each paint in turn to create 3 new colors. Red + Yellow = Orange, Yellow + Blue = Green, Blue + Red = Purple.
次に、新しい絵筆を使って今の赤・黄・青を2色ずつ混ぜ合わせ、新しい色を作る。
赤+黄色=オレンジ、黄色+青=緑、青＋赤＝紫。
5) Using these 3 new colors, paint each of the inner sections a different color 1 x Orange, 1 x Green and 1 x Purple.
4) で作った作った3色を、3)の紙皿の内側の部分に1色ずつ塗る。
6) While you wait for the paint to dry, it’s time to prepare the other plate.
絵具を乾かしている間に、もう一つの紙皿を用意します。
7) Using Scissors/Craft knife and the pencil lines as position guides, cut out the sections as shown in the picture.
鉛筆で下描きをして、ハサミか工作ナイフで図④のように切りとります。
8) Take your marker. Draw some arrows and a plus sign like the ones in the picture. Then erase the original pencil lines and decorate freely.
マジックで、図④のように矢印と「プラス」のマークを描きます。その後、下描きの線を消して、自由に飾り付けをしましょう。
9) When the first plate is dry, put the two plates together and secure in the center with your butterfly pin.
最初の紙皿が乾いたら、２つの紙皿を重ねて、中心部を割りピンでしっかりと固定します。
10) Now have fun turning your wheel and learning about colors
さあ、これでできあがり！ ぐるぐる回して、色のお勉強をしてください。
With your new ‘Color wheel’, you have created your own great teaching tool. With it you can learn together about what colors are made from mixing different primary colors.
It could also allow for a bilingual learning experience, where you can identify and talk about the colors in another language.

これを使って、様々な色が「どんな原色からできているか」を、お子様と一緒に学習してください。
外国語を使って遊ぶのも、良い経験になると思います。色の名前を、日本語以外にして同じように遊んでみましょう。
